We Are
On A Mission
Today, half a million children in New York are performing below their grade level because of citywide education inequalities. That’s 50% of the kids in New York City. Zeta Charter Schools uplift and enliven the neighborhoods that need them the most. We plan to create 25 schools by 2035, serving 13,000 students. Join us in making world-class education accessible for all New York City families.
Zeta was among the first schools to safely reopen.
In 2020, based on public health guidance and in close consultation with parents, we led the charge to provide much-needed care and education to our families.
The COVID-19 pandemic disproportionately affects Black and brown communities, widening the achievement gap in understaffed and under-resourced public schools. Many of our parents are essential workers, and we provide virtual and in-person learning for their kids. We are constantly adapting and adjusting to best serve those members of our community who need us most.
